Nancy Thurow Founded CTM in 1965 with two friends from a communication arts fraternity in response to the elimination of creative drama from Madison public schools. Nancy wrote many of her own plays adapted from children’s literature, and often served as director. The play “Marmalade” was originally written for Nancy and Emily was a character she loved dearly.
