Poslušalka ima na vrtu lepe in debele fige in bi rada pripravila marmelado. Sestra Nikolina ji je svetovala, naj jih, če želi finejšo marmelado, olupi, odreže pecelj in nareže na kocke. To naj postavi v kozico, zraven naj doda malo tekočine in še kakšno dušeno jabolko. Po okusu naj sladka in doda limonin sok. Nato naj vse skupaj skuha, na koncu zmiska s paličnim mešalnikom in nato še pokuha 10 do 15 minut, vmes pa naj ves čas meša. Naloži naj jo v  vroče kozarce.
