Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness May See Change In Overnight Access

The Forest Service has released a plan that would limit access to overnight users in various corridors of the Maroon Bells - Snowmass Wilderness. If the number of users exceeds a threshold, a permit system would be put into place. The plan will be put to public comment in coming months. It has not been finalized or implemented at this time.
