Marrying Up, Marriage Tourism, and Your Security Clearance

Tempted to marry up? Being 'unequally yoked' as it were can actually have security clearance career implications, particularly if it's clear your marriage was a result of marriage tourism, a mail-order-bride, or some other similar situation where a foreign national or even a U.S. citizen with limited means finds themselves in a relationship with someone who is so far out of their league it's a national security issue.
