Marshall and Collins Return for Governors | Austin Peay Governors Basketball News

Austin Peay’s 2026-27 basketball season is heating up with the return of two championship-caliber stars: Rashaud Marshall and Zyree Collins. Both were instrumental in last year’s ASUN title run, leading the team in scoring, rebounds, assists, and steals—with Marshall topping the nation in field-goal percentage and offensive boards. Collins, a Freshman of the Year honoree, dominated with steals and assists, including a nationally ranked seven-steal game. With ten new players joining the roster, the Governors are building around their returning pillars, kicking off exhibitions against Evansville and IU Indy before opening the regular season at home against Lane College on November 2nd. Expectations are sky-high as this duo aims to lead Austin Peay back to the top. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
