On the second anniversary of Eddie Van Halen's death – and after listening to Wolfgang Van Halen's tribute song, "The Distance" – Torg and Elliott spoke with music journalist and author, Martin Popoff about Van Halen. Martin has authored two books about Van Halen. The guys cover the Roth/Hagar debate and if Eddie preferred one version of the band to another. Martin speaks about the lost tapes of Van Halen and the possibility of more new unreleased music from the band. The guys also discuss what set Eddie apart as a guitar player - a "guitar hero" - in the industry. Martin touched on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame fiasco and the rivalry between David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar.
