The Martini was a once simple cocktail that then became very complicated. At some point the definition of a martini changed and it became more about the vessel and the ingredients were anything you wanted them to be. But there's also nothing wrong with a "martini" that has no gin and no vermouth either. This week we're making a slew of martinis, from the simple to the complex.
