Martyrs Eleutherius of Constantinople and Eudokia of Persia

Today we remember two martyrs from the early centuries of Christianity: Eleutherius of Constantinople and Eudokia of Persia. Both stood firm in their faith despite facing persecution and death. Eleutherius was a chamberlain at the imperial court who became a Christian and was executed for refusing to offer pagan sacrifices. Eudokia, taken captive by the Persian army, taught and converted many while imprisoned, ultimately suffering martyrdom for her faith.Support the show
