Martyrs Manuel, Sabel, and Ismael of Persia

Today we remember the Holy Martyrs Manuel, Sabel, and Ismael, three brothers from Persia who stood firm in their Christian faith despite severe persecution. Born to a Christian mother and a pagan father, they were baptized and raised in the faith of Christ. These brothers served as emissaries for the Persian King Alamundar and were sent to negotiate peace with Emperor Julian the Apostate. Their refusal to participate in pagan sacrifices led to their imprisonment, torture, and eventual martyrdom in 362. Their story is a powerful witness to faith and courage.Support the show
