On The Inner Life, Fr. John Eckert couldn't hide his joy when reflecting on the deep Marian devotion of our new Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV. From the very first moments of his papacy, it was clear... Mary is his guide.   He led the world in a Hail Mary from the balcony, mentioned Our Lady of Pompeii, made an early pilgrimage to St. Mary Major, and publicly entrusted his entire papacy to her intercession. One especially touching moment was when he sang the Salve Regina alongside fellow Augustinians and pilgrims, his voice raised in childlike confidence to our Mother. 🙏💙   As Fr.
