Mary Danielsen: Traveling Hopefully, Anxious for Nothing

Did you ever wake up in the morning with rampant negativity sucking the life out of you? The flesh just doesn’t want to face the same troubles and anxieties you went to bed with. This is not only common, but it is also a sure way for the enemy of hope to get us defeated before we even put one foot on the floor. Recognizing the pattern is the start of traveling more hopefully, taking those thoughts captive. Today we look at some of the ways to be more hopeful, be less gullible, and all in all have a more positive outlook that stems from unshakeable faith in the Lord, for everything big and small. If the enemy’s greatest tool is deception, our most potent weapon is truth and lots of it. I always figure, if we are not depressed from time to time, we aren’t paying close enough attention. But that needn’t be our way of life. Head into the wind, against the current – that would be us, and we get weary. Sometimes we get anxious, and it can be debilitating. How can we get that out of our lives? Is it possible? Oh yes.  Talking hope in the midst of whatever, we all need that.
