Mary Magdalene: Myrrhbearer and Equal of the Apostles

Today we remember Mary Magdalene, a woman from the small city of Magdala on the shores of Lake Genesareth. Once troubled and healed by Christ, she became a devoted follower and supporter of Jesus during His ministry. Mary Magdalene stood faithfully by Christ through His crucifixion and burial. She was the first to witness the Resurrection and was sent to share this joyful news with the Apostles, earning her the title Equal of the Apostles.Support the show
