Maryland Dominates UConn on the Road | Maryland Terrapins Football News

Maryland’s offense is firing on all cylinders this season, exploding on the road with a 38-14 demolition of UConn. After falling behind early, they surged back with six of their next eight possessions ending in scores, led by sophomore QB Malik Washington, who threw for 347 yards and two TDs — including an 18-play streak — while distributing to eight different receivers. UConn’s QB Kalieb Osborne had flashes with two TDs but couldn’t overcome Maryland’s stifling run defense. The Terps answered every UConn touchdown with a response of their own, seizing control before halftime with a rushing TD and a field goal. This victory ends UConn’s long home winning streak — and both teams gear up for massive next-week showdowns: Maryland vs. Virginia Tech, UConn vs. Southern Mississippi.
