Maryland Terps Shine on 2027 Shrine Watchlist | Maryland Terrapins Football News

Nine Maryland Terrapins football players have earned a spot on the 2027 East-West Shrine Bowl Watchlist, showcasing the team’s depth across offense, defense, and special teams. Defensive backs Amari Jackson, Lavain Scruggs, Jamare Glasker, and linebacker Daniel Wingate lead the defensive contingent, while offensive linemen Tellek Lockette, Isaiah Wright, Rahtrel Perry, and tight end Dorian Fleming anchor the attack. Punter Bryce McFerson completes the roster. This national recognition highlights standout performances — like Wingate’s 100+ tackles or McFerson’s elite punting — and signals Maryland’s rising talent pipeline. The Shrine Bowl, held February 4 in Arlington, Texas, is a key pre-draft showcase for top seniors, and this watchlist is a major boost for both the players and the program as they gear up for the next season.
