Maryland's Big Ten & Championship Year | Maryland Terrapins Basketball News

Maryland basketball’s 2026-27 season is shaping up to be historic and intense — kicking off with a Big Ten road game at Ohio State, then hosting Michigan State just days later. The Terps face a stacked conference slate featuring home matchups against UCLA, USC, Illinois, Rutgers, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Indiana, Minnesota, and Northwestern — plus tough road trips to Iowa, Purdue, Oregon, Washington, and Michigan. Before conference play, they’ll battle Georgia Tech and West Virginia in exhibitions, then open the official season against Bucknell. Non-conference highlights include showdowns with Georgetown and Virginia, a Thanksgiving Vegas tournament, and a home date with South Carolina. All while celebrating the 25th anniversary of their 2002 NCAA National Championship — making this more than just another season.
