Maryland's Ground Game Revival | Maryland Terrapins Football News

Maryland’s run game struggled last season, finishing dead last in the Big Ten with just over 100 yards per game, forcing the QB to throw more than ideal. DeJuan Williams, the team’s top back, was underutilized in the old offense but showed flashes of brilliance when given space and caught passes out of the backfield. With a new offensive coordinator bringing spread formations, Williams is poised to take center stage—and the ground game could finally explode. Behind him, the depth chart is a mix of unproven talent: Iverson Howard (mostly a returner), transfers Harry Dalton (short-yardage potential) and Terrez Worthy (speed), plus question marks like Solomon Foye, DJ Samuels (injury-prone power runner), and Liam Willson (high school standout turned baseball player). Expect a revamped rushing attack this year—with Williams leading the charge. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
