Masculine And Feminine Energetics

In this episode, I’ll be sharing the magic of understanding the difference between masculine and feminine energy and how we get to use it in our business and our lives. First, we all contain both Masculine and Feminine Energy. It may sound strange at first. Think of the yin and yang symbols. You’ve likely seen it around the world, where black represents the masculine, and white represents the feminine. We need to utilise both of these energies to live a holistic life. Neither is better or worse. We need them both.As women in business, I've that we frequently spend more time in our masculine energy. Particularly in the Western culture, the traits of masculine energy are the ones that are celebrated. This is; trying to work things out, over thinking, doing a lot of fixing, and managing. This is everything the masculine does. This is how I functioned up until a certain point in my business, and I decided that I no longer want to do it that way. In this old masculine way of operating, I found myself burned out, and looking at my life, thinking; What the heck am I doing? Why does this feel so hard? Why is it that I never feel satisfied? I never feel good about my achievements; it’s always on to the next thing.The flip side of this is the Feminine Energy of leaning back and receiving; it’s the allowing energy of trusting and being. This energy is wildly undervalued and underutilised. Making the switch to use more of our feminine energy may feel like slacking, like, “am I doing enough?”. This inner dialogue creates wobbly energy, which then creates fear and scarcity.
