Massive Croc Strikes Without Warning | Deadliest Attack Ever Review

from Gore And Grime Podcast Reviews · host Gore And Grime Podcast

Croc! (2022) (originally titled Crocodile Vengeance), it’s a textbook example of modern indie creature-feature cheese. Produced by the notorious low-budget horror duo Scott Jeffrey and Rhys Frake-Waterfield (the minds behind Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey), this one trades the Florida swamps for the grand, sweeping lawns of the English countryside. The setup is brilliantly absurd: Lisa and Charlie’s idyllic wedding at a rural Tudor mansion goes completely off the rails when a nest of hungry, bloodthirsty crocodiles crashes the ceremony. Instead of standard wedding drama, the guests have to band together to survive a full-on reptilian assault. The cast features some familiar faces from the UK indie horror circuit: Sian Altman (Wolf Garden) as the bride, Lisa Mark Haldor as the bride's rugged father, DylanGeorge Nettleton as the groom, CharlieChrissie Wunna and Antonia Whillans in supporting rolesUnlike your preference for gritty, old-school practical gore effects, Croc! leans heavily into highly exaggerated, laughably bad CGI monster effects, zero-gravity blood splashes, and hilariously questionable character decisions. It’s pure, unadulterated Z-grade fun that takes itself just serious enough to be a blast to riff on with friends. This is a public episode.
