Born and raised in Perth with a Singaporean/Christmas Island background, Pearlin has over 20 years of experience in the makeup industry and 15+ years in hair. Pearlin’s scope of artistry not only covers bridal and special events but she also specialises in creative makeup, This creativity also stems from her degree in Bachelor in Design when she graduated from Curtin University in 2002. Pearlin is renowned for mastery of the Hollywood Waves technique, earning her the title "Wave Queen" of Perth and has conducted annual sold-out masterclasses.Having entered numerous national makeup competitions, Pearlin likes to place herself out of her comfort zone in order to level up. Her competitive spirit has garnered numerous awards, including first place in various categories at Perth's Hair and Makeup Awards and the Australian Makeup Industry Awards. Recently, she won the Bridal Stylist 2024 title at the Hair Festival in Sydney.
