MasterMind Part 3: Reframing Your Mind

from Driven Young Adults · host Driven Student Ministry

Because we are all just flesh, we can develop a cognitive bias in our minds that affects how we look at everything. It produces a mental filter or framework that is not based on truth, but on the lies that we have believed. We must learn to choose a mental filter that is based on the truth of God's Word before we face a negative situation in life. You can't always control what happens to you, but you can control how you frame it. Paul had won the war of his mind, and now we was able to look at life through the filter of truth and see God at work. "12 But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel; 13 So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places;" Philippians 1:12-13 Facebook: @drivensingles Instagram: @drivenstudentministry Snapchat: @drivenstudents
