Masterton's deputy mayor discusses weather damage

Hundreds of homes in southern Wairarapa remain stranded after raging floodwaters again wiped out the critical Turanganui River bridge near Lake Ferry. The AA's Craig Bowyer who is also Masterton's Deputy Mayor, says multiple bridge washouts in recent years are exposing the urgent need for long-term investment in the area's ageing infrastructure.
