Worden concluded in the 3rd grade that God existed when his teacher introduced him to infinity numbers—“You can count forward and backwards forever and ever!” Although he later wrestled with submitting to God, his story of salvation is shared in the preface of his award-winning devotional theology book, HE IS! Knowing God through Fifty Scriptural Meditations. Mark gladly provides a free PDF of his book to anyone who asks. In fact, it was through offering this devotional in a Facebook Christian author group in 2023 that he met his wife, Connie Cook Worden. They began reading each other’s books, developed a friendship, and eventually married—a story they are currently writing into its own book.
