Matoub Lounes Tribute

Matoub Lounes was killed 20 years ago in Kabylie. This murder turned the beloved berber militant icon into a martyr, renowned all around the world for his bravery. Gone but not forgotten, the diversity of sounds in his music and the density of his compositions still live on. For July here is a mix covering his vinyl days that shows only a tiny fraction of his art, most of his later work was published on CD or tape. So enjoy this mix, enjoy your vacations and thank you Matoub.
