Matrix and Vision Treadmills Have Loose Power Cords

from Dr. Howard Smith Reports · host Howard G. Smith MD, AM

Vidcast:  https://www.instagram.com/p/DUB2PaQD87W/The power cords of these treadmills loosen and detach from the treadmills’ power sockets creating fire hazards. Affected are Matrix Retail T30, TF30, T50, TF50, and T75 treadmills as well as Vision T9800, TF20, T40, and T80 treadmills.About 47,000 treadmills were sold at specialty fitness retailers nationwide and online at matrixhomefitness.com and visionfitness.com between April 2012 and May 2025.If you have one of these treadmills, inspect it to see whether a power cord socket bracket is installed. If there is no bracket, make certain that the power cord is fully inserted into the power socket before each use until the repair is completed.  Contact Johnson Health Tech North America by phone at 1-800-211-4590 or via email at [email protected] to receive a free replacement power cord with an automatic locking-style plug which will be mailed for self-installation and does not require any tools.  Use the same contact methods for more information.https://www.cpsc.gov/Recalls/2026/Johnson-Health-Tech-Expands-Recall-to-Include-Matrix-Retail-and-Vision-Treadmills-Due-to-Fire-Hazard#matrix #vision #treadmills #powercord #fire #recall
