The Mooresville, North Carolina native has found success through the Late Model ranks and, in recent years, has begun his National Series path with Niece Motorsports competing in both the ARCA Menards Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Away from the racetrack, Matt has become an essential asset for Niece providing work building chassis and interiors. The 20-year-old balances his track time with off-track studies, as he looks to finish the year with an Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Gould's interest and drive follow in the footsteps of his father, Phil Gould, who has effectively served as a longtime face in motorsports and currently serves as Niece's Director of Competition and crew chief of the No. 45 Chevrolet. Together, the father and son duo manage their Late Model team preparing for their return to competition this Spring.
