In 2001, he started MAST Technology, a company focused on developing integrated radiology solutions for companion animal and equine practices. Several years later, he and his partners launched Odyssey Software with the development of the Diagnostic Imaging Assistant (DIA). This client communication system was used in thousands of veterinary practices worldwide and was available in three languages. Following the acquisition of Odyssey, he directed the technology group for Patterson Veterinary (PDCO) until 2014. In 2015, he co-founded rVetLink (veterinary referral management) and DataPoint (veterinary data integration). These startups were acquired by IDEXX (IDXX) in 2017 where he helped lead software business development and key partnerships until July 2022.
