In live performance, he is known for his uplifting energy, warmth, and ability to spontaneously inspire a sense of community. Matt is currently participating in a year-long master class with renowned vocal improvisor Rhiannon (Bobby McFerrin’s Voicestra). He has performed with burlesque dancer The Velvet Unicorn and his song Precious and Sacred was published for author Debora Abood’s book dedicated to Indigenous children. He performs in Japanese, French, English and Spanish and has been invited to be a featured performer this year at Campbell Bay Music Festival, the Victoria Francophone Festival and Songbird North.
