We here at Rock of Nations are following Breaking News:Acclaimed drummer #MattCameron has left #PearlJam after 27 years behind the tubs. The 62-year-old former backbone of #Soundgarden posted this statement on social media:“After 27 fantastic years, I have taken my final steps down the drum riser for the mighty Pearl Jam,” Cameron said. “Much love and respect to Jeff, Ed, Mike and Stone for inviting me into the band in 1998 and for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime, filled with friendships, artistry, challenges and laughter.”His Pearl Jam bandmates expressed their gratitude for his service and their longstanding friendship. Cameron did not give a reason for his departure. No replacement has been named as of yet.
