Matthew 1:18-22, Revelation 5 / Ben Crocker Ben introduces the format for our advent season - studying the book of Revelation in parallel with the story of Jesus’s birth. John saw in his vision a scroll of God’s promise that could not be opened by anyone - no one was worthy to break the seals and read the contents - and he wept. However, Jesus, through humbling Himself and becoming like a lamb that was slain, was found worthy. The entirety of heaven changed its song to one of praise for Jesus, our Savior, the worthy Lamb.
