Can you imagine the care of the potter as he forms a pot from the clay? He carefully shapes every curve to reflect his design. Or the attention the artist gives each brushstroke, slowly bringing the form to a blank canvas? As the artist creates, she gives her full attention to the work. She brings beauty from nothing and worth to otherwise simple materials. Has anyone cared for you that way? Today Pastor Mark reminds you that Jesus formed you, just as the potter forms the clay. He knows you. He made you in his image. He loves you. When you feel unseen, unknown, and unheard, remember: you are his masterpiece.
