Matthew 15:21-28 — The Faith of a Canaanite Woman (Ep.052), A. Twelfth Sunday after Pentecost

Jesus meets a woman of great faith. In the podcast we are studying the bible and learning English at the same time. In this reading a Canaanite woman won’t give up and asks Jesus again and again to heal her daughter of demon possession. The disciples want her to go away and Jesus even says that he has come for the lost sheep, the people, of Israel. But she does not give up and says “Lord, help me!” Jesus sees her great faith and heals her daughter. In this episode we talk about the woman’s great faith and Jesus’ unusual response to her.
