Matthew 18:15   “And if he should sin against you, your brother, you withdraw, and you confute him – between you and him alone. Some things are beyond our ability to mend, and this can be for a limitless number of reasons. We can only do what we can do.   These matters are addressed in the word because they are matters that have arisen in human hearts since the very beginning. Cain’s jealousy turned into murder. That was just the start of unhappy interactions between people, even among Christians. So don’t beat yourself up too much when disputes, even irreconcilable disputes, arise.   Hand your cares and disappointments over to the Lord after you have done what you can to resolve a matter.
