Matthew 24, The Study of End Times Part 6 - The Sign of His Coming II

Acts 2:16 "But this is that which hath been spoken through the prophet Joel:         17 And it shall be in the last days, saith God, I will pour forth of my Spirit upon all flesh: And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams: 18 Yea and on my [b]servants and on my [c]handmaidens in those days Will I pour forth of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy." The last days of what did the Holy Ghost signify?  It was in the last days of the Old Covenant.  Also, what did Jesus say would happen when the Holy Spirit came?  In John 14, it is declared "At that day, you shall know I am in my Father, you are in me, and I am in you."  Now how do we know we are in Him?  How do we know He is in us?  He would give us His Spirit.  The Spirit is the sign, Christ is in us and we are in Him.  Paul states that if any man does not have the Spirit of Christ He is not His (Romans 8:9).  The Apostle John states that hereby we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit (I John 4:13).
