Matthew 6:19-24 | Receive Without Guilt, Give Without Hesitation

“Lay up treasures in heaven… The eye is the lamp of the body… You cannot serve God and money.” Jesus uses three phrasings to help us understand our relationship to possessions, and how it affects our body and souls. All three develop our understanding that Jesus cares deeply for us, and wants to free us from the things that will enslave us if not for his proper Kingship of our lives.
