Matthew 6:19-34 (pt. 2)

from The Word For The Valley Podcast (iOS)

In Part 2 of this section, Jesus tells us not to worry about our life. Because to worry, means to be pulled in many directions. Meaning, worry arises when we are divided between 2 kingdoms. Jesus stated it this way “you cannot serve 2 masters. You will either be loyal to the one and despise the other”Jesus wasn't suggesting that we ignore the ordinary things of life. Instead, He desires that we to tend to them and surrender them so we're free from worry, and can pursue the things of the kingdom of God.
