He was abruptly relieved of his command in May of 2021 because of public comments he made criticizing diversity and inclusion programs being implemented in the US military. He thoroughly detailed his critiques in a book he released the same month called Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military.
