MATURITY AND DEDICATION FOR ONE GOAL - The Pass: a Track Talk with Tomass Stolcermanis 🇬🇧

ENG 🇬🇧   Tomass Štolcermanis might seem like a man of few words, but he certainly fills them all with great value. We at The Pass met him at the Franciacorta Karting Track on the occasion of the FIA Karting OK-OKJ World Championship, an event that Tomass attended to compete in the premier class of single-speed karting with the Energy Corse team. Throughout our Track Talk, Tomass talked about the importance of motorsport in his life as well as the energy he dedicates to this discipline, also revealing what he is willing to give up in the name of his dream.    After finding himself at the wheel of a go-kart at the age of three, the Latvian born in 2007 understood during his childhood that he wanted to continue holding a steering wheel in his hands. This is how he then grew up in national karting competitions and even participated in races on the snow aboard cars with manual transmission when he was just nine years old, before arriving on the international karting scene. From being a perfect stranger who “came out of nowhere” to becoming an absolute protagonist capable of achieving several successes, learning how to be more responsible, how to manage stress and how to face various challenges, which Tomass told us about.    Currently making his debut in Formula 4 after having participated in two editions of the scouting camp organised by the Ferrari Driver Academy together with ACI as well as in the Supercorso Federale ACI Sport, Tomass demonstrates how the ability to remain motivated and calm, both on the racetrack and in daily life, can make a difference.    His The Pass? Noi di The Pass lo abbiamo incontrato al Franciacorta Karting Track in occasione del Campionato del mondo FIA Karting OK-OKJ, evento al quale Tomass era presente per competere nella categoria regina del karting monomarcia con il team Energy Corse. Nel corso della nostra Track Talk, Tomass ha raccontato l’importanza che ha assunto il motorsport nella sua vita così come l’energia che dedica a questa disciplina, rivelando anche ciò a cui è disposto a rinunciare in nome del suo sogno.    Dopo essersi ritrovato alla guida di un go-kart già a tre anni, il lettone classe 2007 capisce durante l’infanzia che desidera continuare a tenere un volante tra le mani. È così che cresce nelle competizioni nazionali di kart e a soli nove anni si destreggia persino in gare sulla neve a bordo di macchine con cambio manuale, prima di approdare sulla scena del karting internazionale. Da perfetto sconosciuto “sbucato dal nulla” a protagonista assoluto in grado di raccogliere diversi successi, imparando a responsabilizzarsi, a gestire lo stress e ad affrontare varie sfide, di cui Tomass ci ha parlato.   Attualmente impegnato nel suo debutto in Formula 4 dopo aver partecipato a due edizioni dello scouting camp organizzato dalla Ferrari Driver Academy insieme all’ACI così come al Supercorso Federale ACI Sport, Tomass dimostra quanto la capacità di rimanere motivati e calmi, sia in pista sia nella vita quotidiana, possa fare la differenza.    Il suo The Pass?
