Maturity Has a Direction

In this episode of Coffee with the Superintendent, we return to Philippians 3:15–17 and examine what true Christian maturity looks like under the New Covenant. Paul reminds us that maturity is not sinless perfection but a mind shaped by the gospel, pressing toward Christ because Christ has already taken hold of us. We explore the difference between Old Covenant external conformity and New Covenant heart transformation, and we consider what it means to live up to the truth we have already received.   We also continue our examination of the New Parent Covenant, focusing on Academic Responsibility and Work Ethic. We reflect on how diligence, integrity, punctuality, and perseverance are not merely academic virtues but acts of stewardship and worship.
