In a 4-1 loss to Colorado, the biggest thing Austin kept coming back to was Maveric Lamoureux making life harder on himself, especially after the blind backhand turnover that led directly to Beckett Hamilton’s goal. There were still real positives. Caleb Desnoyers won faceoffs, played physically, and didn’t look afraid of contact. Sebastian Cossa stopped 11 of 12 and looked like a backup you can live with.
