He completed the memorization of the Qurʾān while in high school and subsequently enrolled into the ʿĀlim Program at the Institute of Islamic Education. At the Institute, Mawlana Kamil completed a formal ʿĀlimiyyah Degree. After graduating in 2011, he began educating students in the ʿĀlim Program at that very institute for four years.   He has a special interest in tafsīr and ʿulūm al-Qurʾān and has regularly been teaching courses in the Department of Qurʾānic Exegesis and the Department of Qurʾānic Studies & Recitation at Darul Qasim since 2014.
