It was there that he received Ijazas in various fields of Islamic Sciences. During his studies, he interned at various Islamic organizations where he learned about different efforts led by Ulama that can be practiced to benefit those living in America. Since 2014 he has served as an Imam at the Islamic Center of Rancho Cordova, Central Valley Crescent in Modesto, and California Islamic Center in Lodi, CA. Mawlana Yasir Khan founded Al-Misbaah in 2015 with the hopes that it will be a means of Muslim youth preserving their Iman and working to serve their communities. In addition to building the Iman of the people, one of Al-Misbaah’s goals is to serve as a means of dawah, to invite others to the beautiful religion.
