It’s a fact of life: We’re all growing older. How do you imagine it’s going to be for you when you reach your golden years? Do you see yourself climbing Mount Everest? Starting a new post-retirement business? Or whiling away your days watching TV in assisted living? To a large degree, you can make the choice of which path to follow.

That is certainly the case for my guest on this episode of Dream Power Radio, Max Izenberg, who claims she’s healthier now in her eighties than she was twenty years ago. This tireless woman has devoted her life to educating seniors on how to make the most out of life. After years of producing a newsletter highlighting health and lifestyle tips and local events in her Southern California area, Max has started an online blog maxonlovinglife.com filled with weekly tips on how to thrive. Oh, and did I mention that she’s in her eighties?

Max shares some of her wisdom on healthy aging with us, including:
• what foods to eat and, more importantly, what foods to avoid
• the one thing you must add to your routine every day
• why and how to eliminate sugar from your diet
• and more!

Max Izenberg waited until her children were grown before earning a degree in nutrition. She is an in-demand speaker and has written two books, including "Who Took My Chocolate Cake", which details her philosophy on maintaining healthy lifestyles as we age.
