Maximale schadebeperking voor Verstappen ondanks bloedende RB18 | F1 podcast SilverstoneEen horrorcrash voor Guanyu Zhou, Max Verstappen die zijn bloedende RB18 toch de punten insleept en wéér een tactische blunder voor Ferarri. De Britse Grand Prix was opnieuw een spektakel waar Carlos Sainz tot een kersverse winnaar in de Formule 1 werd gekroond. Ondanks de jubelstemming bij Sainz, liet Ferrari zich opnieuw van haar zwakke kant liet zien. Terwijl Max Verstappen zijn bloedende RB18 over de finishstreep moest slepen, was het aan Charles Leclerc om punten te maximaliseren. Zijn team dacht daar echter anders over en gaf zijn teamgenoot Carlos Sainz een tactisch voordeel na een late safety car. Maximale schadebeperking voor Max, terwijl Leclerc (begrijpelijk) opnieuw niet blij was met zijn team.Lewis Hamilton wist opnieuw een knappe podiumplek te scoren nu Mercedes de porpoising problemen eindelijk onder controle hadden, terwijl zijn teamgenoot George Russell nu Mr. Consistency af is.
