Send us Fan MailMike Fallat is an entrepreneur, a risk-taker, and a man who loves true stories. He started his first business at the age of 23 and he realized that to get ahead in life, he had to play the game differently. After years of failure, Mike finally was able to find success in the entrepreneur space and took himself from shithead to superstar, and began to use his story to set himself apart from the crowd. He wrote his first book, which became a best-seller on Amazon, and that is when everything changed. The book was an opportunity to position himself as an authority and gain influence, and Mike realized he wanted to help others do the same.He went on to create DreamStarters University, which is all about helping entrepreneurs use their own stories as their competitive advantage in life. Mike’s company Dream Starter’s Publishing has published 300+ books for entrepreneurs by making their dream idea of writing a book, a very strategic yet simple process. In this episode, Mike shares the lessons that he has learned throughout his journey, which involved unlearning ideas that have been imparted on many of us throughout our childhood, education, religion, and more. Many of us do not know our true power, or even really know who we are deep down. Mike emphasizes the necessity of looking deep inside ourselves to ask the hard question: “Who am I, really?” Sometimes the answer to this question might mean you need to change everything about your life, but the clarity you gain can lead to magical things if you let it. Everything starts in our mind, and as Mike says, “If you get your mind right you get your life right.”Key highlights:What you can learn from writing a book You can’t look externally for happinessHow not to be a victimUnlearning ideas that are not serving usYour personality creates your personal realityWhat we can learn from the Bible: sacrifice and servicePain gives us a flashlight to what needs to be fixed The degree that we can develop our mind is the degree to which we can succeedConnect with Mike Fallat:Website: dreamstarterspublishing.comGet Mike’s latest book for free: milliondollarbookpro.comInstagram: @dreamstartersBooks by Mike:Million Dollar BookAttractive Story TellingDreamStarterStarted From ZeroConnect with Alison:Instagram: @alisonanswers | @lagercounselingWebsite: LagerCounseling.comYouTube: Alison AnswersFacebook: Alison Lager Lcsw CasacPurchase Alison’s book: “The Wake Up Call”Alison Answers Facebook Group: Join HEREWomen of Excellence FB group: Join HEREConnect with Alison:Instagram: @alisonanswers | @lagercounselingWebsite: LagerCounseling.comYouTube: Alison AnswersFacebook: Alison Lager Lcsw CasacPurchase Alison’s book: “The Wake Up Call”Alison Answers Facebook Group: Join HEREWomen of Excellence FB group: Join HERE⚠️ Crisis Resources:Lager Counseling ServicesCall: 516-221-2123Text: (914) 363-0381Wantagh: 3408 Park Ave. Wantagh, NY 11793988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (24/7, free, confidential)Call or text 988 | Visit 988lifeline.org
