May 17 - The Holy Spirit - Part 6

Life gets hard.  In Rome, at the time of the New Testament, you could be killed for following Jesus.  The Holy Spirit reminds us that there is a future hope for us.  When you don’t know how to pray, the Holy Spirit prays for us.  When you can’t remember who you are, the Holy Spirit reminds us we are His.  When we can’t remember the scripture we’ve read, the Holy Spirit brings it back to mind in our time of need.  We are weak and on the verge of death.  And that’s how we approach God.
