May 1993 - Hot Shots! Part Deux

For the fifth month of 1993, we took on a whole genre of hidden gems:Looking back at the 90s, we noticed a bygone comedy style that we missed. Gone were the days of the spoof, the parody, led by such luminaries as Mel Brooks and the trio of Zucker, Abrahams and Zucker. For May, we felt we had to highlight one of Abrahams best films, starring Charlie Sheen as a thinly veiled Rambo type, in a sequel to a film where he played a thinly veiled Maverick type….Hot Shots! Part Deux!
