Coach Chris Polhemus of United Cerebral Palsy of Long Island joins Heart of The East End with Gianna Volpe on WLIW-FM ahead of an 80-mile walk starting May 29 from The Children’s Center in Commack to Montauk Lighthouse in support of a new independent living program for the students he championed for 13 years at UCP-LI before retiring from a 40 year career as an adapted physical education instructor.
