May 24 – Reigning In Life

In today’s episode, Pastor Cory Barnes shares a devotion from Romans 5, where Paul contrasts the effects of Adam’s sin with the victory made available through Jesus Christ. While sin brought death and allowed it to reign over humanity, Jesus has given believers the gift of righteousness so they can now “reign in life” through Him. This message reminds listeners that through Christ, they are no longer powerless victims living under fear, defeat, or hopelessness. Instead, believers have been given authority through Jesus’ finished work and are called to stand in faith against the works of the enemy. Pastor Cory encourages listeners to stop partnering with fear and begin declaring the truth of God’s promises over every area of life.
