It was a birthday show for Weems, and the crew marked the occasion by surprising him with a visit from his brother, Coach Ricky Weems. Rusty Taylor jumped on the question of the week before the guys checked in with the latest Braves report. Mike Parris, the voice of the Jacksonville State Gamecocks, joined the show to share stories from his playground days and to preview the Gamecocks as they head into regional play. The crew also made a stop for the NASCAR report, covering news from the 600, a tragic loss away from the track, and this week’s picks. They also looked ahead to a trip to Rickwood Field later in the day.
