These bills were unsuccessful in the regular session but the Lieutenant Governor has lobbied for a special session to take up these bills. We discuss these and other bills that are being pushed in Austin.GUEST: Andrew Edmonson  We speak with Joseph Magallanes, Senior Services Program Cooridnator of the Montrose Center about the Law Harrington Senior Living Center. The Center at 2222 Cleburne Street is an affordable, LGBTQ-affirming senior living center that will feature 112 one- and two-bedroom independent living apartments for low-income individuals and couples who are 62 years and older.
